John Bollenberg es un periodista belga revisor de basta experiencia en el mundo del rock progresivo, En el 2000 Bollenberg tuvo una idea y formó un álbum conceptual sobre la ciudad belga, Brugge; y con la ayuda de muchos amigos del mundo del rock progresivo lanzó el álbum "If Only Stones Could Speak", el cual fue etiquetado por el sello Musea en 2002, bajo el nombre The Bollenberg Experience. La música de John Bollenberg posee inclinaciones fuertes hacia el lado sinfónico, así como de folk rock.
